After qualifying as an insurance specialist at R+V Versicherung in 1991, then spending five years employed in the special customer service team, Konrad Höfer took up his first managerial position as district manager for R+V Versicherung in 1996.
In 2001, following 13 years at R+V, he decided it was time to find out what else the insurance sector had to offer. This led Konrad Höfer to join the German arm of the Zurich Insurance Group.
From 2001 to 2017 he held various managerial positions at Zurich Insurance Group Germany. Starting as Head of Operations before moving on to become Regional Director and then Head of Sales (West), Konrad Höfer was able to demonstrate his skills and expertise and showcase his leadership qualities.
Konrad Höfer was Head of Sales from 2017 to 2020 and also served as an authorised officer of the vfm group.
Further managerial posts followed in the Sales and Digital & New Business Solutions department of Fonds Finanz Maklerservice GmbH from 2021 to 2023.
Since 2023 Konrad Höfer has been responsible for the interests of 1:1 Assekuranzservice AG as a member of the Executive Board. His expertise in the industry, many years of know-how and leadership qualities make him both a valuable addition to the board and an absolute asset. He took sole charge of the Sales portfolio on 01.08.2024.
On 01.09.2024 Konrad Höfer was appointed CEO of Deutsche PensionsManagement AG.
